Sunshine, flowers, fresh breeze, and chill music are filling our home right now and it’s a blessing.

I’m hoping that this weekend finds everyone with at least a moment of joy, beauty or relaxation. Mother’s Day can be a whirlwind and complicated and messy for all sorts of reasons. Just know if you feel grief or loss or feelings that aren’t centered around the happy things we always see pictures of, IT’S OK! Your feelings are valid. It’s ok to not love this day, to be hurting or whatever you are feeling. I see you and would hug you if I could 🤗💗

To all the people out there who have mothered, whether you birthed someone or not, Happy Mother’s Day. Thank you for carrying the vital energy of love and nurturing into the world.

All of next week the profits from every private session and group class will be donated to @youthfeedingindia.

I’ll also be hosting a fundraiser class on Wednesday 5/5 at 5:30p CST with 100% of proceeds going to the same organization.

If yoga isn’t your thing, or you can’t make class, please consider donating to the efforts to save lives in India. If you’ve ever done yoga, you owe it to the people of India to send support to them. When you support my business, you are supporting a woman who's mission is to support others. Everything I do from yoga classes, private sessions, and doula work is designed to help each client feel strong and confident in their body. I firmly believe this creates a ripple effect through the world leading to more people who are aware of their inner and outer strength. People who are empowered, able to pause to take a breath before reacting and people who can then go into the world to be more impactful themselves.

You are also supporting a family. You are supporting a life-long dream of self-employment. You're supporting a real person with struggles, hopes, and dreams. Not a corporation, a bottom line, or a profit margin.

I care deeply about each of my students and clients. Watching students explore their capabilities, and helping birthing people grow their families is what lights me up. Supporting people is my purpose and on #SmallBusinessSaturday it would be wonderful for you to show your support of myself, and other small business owners.

You can buy a class, a private session, and I have gift cards available for all of my services. Yoga not your thing? That's ok!
